Recap: Jefferson Panthers vs. Three Forks Wolves

The Jefferson Panthers won the last time they faced the Three Forks Wolves, and things went their way on Thursday too. Jefferson simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Three Forks 66-33 at home. With Jefferson ahead 38-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Jefferson found their leader in underclassman Ryian Eveland, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 rebounds. Eveland is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Miller, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Three Forks, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Manhattan at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Three Forks will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on January 19, 2024.
