Softball Recap: Colfax Victorious

Colfax proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Medical Lake Cardinals, sneaking past 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since May 7, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Brenna Gilchrist, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Riley Hennigar was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

Colfax's record now sits at 7-2. As for Medical Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Colfax beat the Cardinals by a score of 24-8 later that day.
