Flag Football Game Preview: Mendez Jaguars vs. Roybal Titans

The Mendez Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Roybal Titans at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Mendez nor Roybal posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mendez faced off against Franklin on Monday. The Jaguars received a blow as they fell 20-6 to the Panthers. The Jaguars have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Roybal fell victim to Wilson and their airtight defense on Monday. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Mules.

Mendez's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Roybal, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Mendez lost to Roybal on the road by a decisive 18-0 margin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
