It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westwood can now relate to. They took a hard 49-35 fall against the Hinton Blackhawks on Wednesday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Hinton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Westwood will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Woodward-Granger on February 21, 2026. As for Hinton, they will face off against Rock Valley at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Hinton has won ten straight at home, while Rock Valley won eight straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
