Baseball Game Preview: Munford Cougars vs. Dyer County Choctaws

For the second straight game, Munford will face off against Dyer County. The Cougars will host the Choctaws at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Munford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Dyer County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Munford is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since March 22nd on Wednesday. They skirted past Dyer County 4-3.

Munford's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Noah Lowry, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Munford's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 19-15. As for Dyer County, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11-1.
