Baseball Recap: Mingo Central Comes Up Short

Mingo Central lost against Man back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Miners lost 15-5 to the Hillbillies. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mingo Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Vance, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Ethan Anderson was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Mingo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Man, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Mingo Central will head out on the road to square off against East Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Man, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Charleston Catholic at 6:00 p.m.
