Basketball Recap: Jordan Seiuli's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Skyline over Dobson

Skyline lost against Dobson two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Skyline Coyotes took a hard 44-30 fall against the Dobson Mustangs.

Skyline's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Seiuli, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Seiuli is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Schneider, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Dobson found their leader in sophomore Lana Shirley, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliana Garcia, who earned six points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Skyline's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Dobson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-17.

As of now, neither Skyline nor Dobson have any future games scheduled.
