There's no place like home for Pee Dee Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 57-28 win over the Dillon Christian Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Pee Dee Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out Jordan Blackmon six times. Gage Elliott was especially locked on to Dillon Christian's QB and sacked him twice. Jesse Smith got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Dillon Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blackmon, who threw for 324 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 81 yards. The Warriors' leading receiver R Bracey was Blackmon's top target yet again, picking up 82 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Pee Dee Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Dillon Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Pee Dee Academy will welcome Orangeburg Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 42.5 points per game this season. Dillon Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
