Recap: Faith Academy Flames vs. Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders
The Faith Academy Flames lost to the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders back in January of 2023, but the Faith Academy Flames didn't allow the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Faith Academy walked away with a 45-38 victory over Round Rock Christian Academy.
Claire Poage was on fire: she scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Ella Cozby was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Faith Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.
Faith Academy will head out on the road to take on Holy Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Trinity Catholic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Live Oak Classical at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Live Oak Classical focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday.
