Basketball Game Preview: St. Francis Gladiators vs. Petoskey Northmen

The St. Francis Gladiators are taking a road trip to challenge the Petoskey Northmen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Francis will be strutting in after a victory while Petoskey will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, St. Francis didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Elk Rapids, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win.

Meanwhile, Petoskey was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 36-35 to Sault Area. The game marked the Northmen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Petoskey's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Things could have been worse for St. Francis, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-35 loss to Petoskey when the teams last played on February 4th. Can St. Francis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
