Football Recap: Suwannee Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Suwannee can now relate to. They were dealt a 33-0 loss at the hands of the Florida State University High School Seminoles on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Seminoles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Danielle White produced another solid effort rushing for 56 yards and two TDs on only six carries, while also throwing for 131 yards and one touchdown while completing 78.6% of her passes for Florida State University High School. Emma Prosser made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Suwannee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Florida State University High School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Suwannee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Florida State University High School, they will challenge Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Seminoles' defense better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 26 points per game this season.
