Volleyball Recap: Ashby Comes Up Short

Ashby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Underwood Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Arrows of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Ashby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Underwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Looking ahead, Ashby will head out on the road to face off against Rothsay at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Underwood, they will face off against Barnesville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
