Soccer Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Herndon Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Lakes of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

South Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Herndon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

As for Herndon, they will head out on the road to take on Wakefield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Herndon their first taste of in-conference action this season.
