            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Marion Center). They blew past the Northern Cambria Colts 49-26 on Friday. The Stingers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 22  points or more this season.

 Camden Rising produced another solid  performance rushing for 114 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 190 yards and three  TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Those  114  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high. Marion Center's leading receiver  Alec Brudnock was  Rising's top target yet again, picking up 110 receiving yards and two  scores.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Marion Center was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 245  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  contests.
 Marion Center didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Brudnock.
Marion Center pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.3 points on average over those games. As for Northern Cambria, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
