Volleyball Game Preview: Joseph Eagles vs. North Douglas

The Joseph Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against North Douglas at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Joseph is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Adrian 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Antelopes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Douglas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Perrydale on Wednesday.

Joseph's win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for North Douglas, their victory bumped their record up to 21-7.

Joseph couldn't quite get it done against North Douglas in their previous matchup back in November of 2021 as they fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
