Baseball Game Preview: Camden County Bruins vs. Holmes Aces

The Camden County Bruins will be taking part in a tournament against the Holmes Aces at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Holmes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Camden County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Gates County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 4-0 to the Red Barons. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bruins were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Holmes suffered their biggest loss since March 4th on Monday. They came up short against Currituck County, falling 10-4.

Ashton Stallings was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Hunter Lynch, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Camden County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
