Dewey extended their postseason success on Thursday against Stigler. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldoggers have posted since April 9th.

Nathan Sloan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Easton Davis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Dewey's victory bumped their record up to 29-9. As for Stigler, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 27-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dewey beat the Panthers by a score of 8-4 on Friday.
