Baseball Recap: Red Level Comes Up Short

Red Level lost against Baker back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Level Tigers lost 18-8 to the Baker Gators. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red Level got a big performance out of Landon Jernigan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Jonathan Nolen was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Red Level now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Baker, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Red Level wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 victory against Luverne on the 4th. As for Baker, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-9 win against Laurel Hill on the 3rd.
