Basketball Game Preview: Selma Bears vs. Sierra Chieftains

The Selma Bears will face off against the Sierra Chieftains at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Selma will be strutting in after a win while Sierra will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Selma turned things around against Montclair on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Sierra was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 43-42 to Independence. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Selma's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12. As for Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
