Basketball Recap: Maine West Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wheeling last Saturday, Maine West came back down to earth. The Maine West Warriors fell 54-47 to the Niles West Wolves on Friday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Maine West now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Niles West, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-15 record.

Maine West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-43 victory against College Prep of America on the 1st. Niles West has also already played their next game (against Taft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
