Baseball Recap: Luling Comes Up Short

Luling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 16-4 to the ISBL Austin Waves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Waves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in February.

Luling saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Sandersen, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Luling's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for ISBL Austin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Coming up, Luling will look to defend their home field on Friday against Gonzales at 7:00 p.m. As for ISBL Austin, they will square off against Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
