St. Anthony entered their tilt with Teutopolis on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Wooden Shoes by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Anthony never let Teutopolis on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24.

St. Anthony's record now sits at 16-4. As for Teutopolis, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.

Looking ahead, St. Anthony will be taking part in a tournament against Champaign Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Teutopolis, they will challenge Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
