Basketball Recap: Kearsarge Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Kearsarge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats with a sharp 44-21 victory on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kearsarge's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Hillsboro-Deering, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Kearsarge will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hillsboro-Deering: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
