Volleyball Recap: Devine Comes Up Short

Devine's tournament run continued when they took on TMI-Episcopal on Saturday. The Warhorses / Arabians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Emma Mciver paced Devine's offense, picking up five kills. Mciver got some help from Kynedie Cruz and her eight assists. Cami Carroll controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Devine's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for TMI-Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Devine will head out to square off against Natalia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warhorses / Arabians are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for TMI-Episcopal, they are taking a road trip to take on Keystone at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
