Parkston had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Parker/Marion Pheasants.

Despite the loss, Parker/Marion still got an impressive performance from Braelyn Berens, who had 22 digs and two aces. Berens has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Parkston's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Parker/Marion, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Parkston has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against McCook Central/Montrose on the 22nd. As for Parker/Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Avon on the 20th.
