Soccer Game Preview: A.C. Reynolds vs. T.C. Roberson

A.C. Reynolds had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Erwin on Wednesday. A.C. Reynolds never let Erwin get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Given A.C. Reynolds' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Erwin are ranked 370th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, T.C. Roberson hasn't lost a match since March 15th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They blew past Erwin 6-0.

T.C. Roberson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those five contests. A.C. Reynolds' victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1.
