It was a good run, but Deckerville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the All Saints Central Cougars. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Deckerville's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for All Saints Central, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Deckerville will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dryden at 7:30 p.m. As for All Saints Central, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the All Saints Central Cougars face off against the Mayville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
