Village Christian Academy won the last time they faced Fayetteville Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Village Christian Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 25-9.

Village Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Maxine Honrada, who had 25 digs. Zoey Henry also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Village Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Fayetteville Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Village Christian Academy will square off against rival Fayetteville Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fayetteville Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Northwood Temple Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
