Football Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

The Centennial Huskies came up short against the Redlands East Valley Wildcats on Saturday and fell 12-2.

Redlands East Valley found their leader in sophomore Charlotte Cox, who rushed for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Redlands East Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Centennial has already played their next contest, a 24-7 win against Temescal Canyon on the 9th. As for Redlands East Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-0 victory against Palm Springs on the 9th.
