Softball Recap: North Arlington Vikings vs. Lyndhurst Golden Bears

North Arlington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lyndhurst Golden Bears a 7-0 shutout. The Vikings not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9th (when they won 19-2).

Cadence Mansfield made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
