West Las Vegas waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Portales Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

West Las Vegas pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Portales, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

West Las Vegas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Santa Fe Indian on the 10th. As for Portales, they will welcome Artesia at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
