Softball Recap: Atlantic Sharks vs. Pine Ridge Panthers

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlantic). They put the hurt on the Pine Ridge Panthers with a sharp 25-12 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Amelia Reavis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and six unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.

At the plate, Kendal Carson was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexus Summerall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 11-for-4.
