Basketball Recap: Hiram Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hiram played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets, falling 58-23. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yellow Jackets from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Hiram lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taylor Gaddis, who posted eight points. That was a full 34.8% of Hiram's points, marking the third time in a row Gaddis has had more than a third of the team's points. Jaya Carter was another key player, putting up eight points.

Hiram is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Sprayberry, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Hiram will square off against East Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sprayberry, they will take on Walton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
