Basketball Recap: Washington Triumphs

After losing to Rockwood Summit the last time they met, Washington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Washington Bluejays walked away with a 58-50 win over the Rockwood Summit Falcons on Saturday.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Rockwood Summit, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will venture away from home to face off against Fort Zumwalt East at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington is facing Fort Zumwalt East at the right time seeing as Fort Zumwalt East is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Rockwood Summit, they will head out on the road to square off against Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
