Softball Recap: Parkland Trojans vs. William Allen Canaries

While Parkland put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for William Allen. The Parkland Trojans were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the William Allen Canaries. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Canaries, too.

Allison Hunsberger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero hits, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.
