Softball Recap: Ariton Comes Up Short

Ariton lost to Dothan back in April of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Purple Cats came up short against the Wolves, falling 16-2.

Ariton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Dothan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-11.

Ariton has already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against Dale County on the 9th. As for Dothan, they are taking a road trip to face off against Enterprise at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 3.1, the Wildcats 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
