Baseball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Jordan Beetdiggers, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beetdiggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Wednesday.

West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Salazaar, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

West's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Jordan, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

While West had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
