Volleyball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville lost against Burke back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tornadoes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

Burke found their leader in freshman Izaria Koenig, who had 16 digs and two assists.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Burke, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

Looking ahead, Centerville will square off against Scotland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burke, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on the 4th.
