Soccer Recap: Englewood Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Englewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Raines Vikings a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Englewood's win bumped their record up to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood will be home for the holidays to greet Wolfson at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Raines, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Riverside at 5:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
