After a string of four wins, Lone Pine's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mammoth Huskies. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Lone Pine's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Mammoth, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.

Coming up, Lone Pine will welcome Immanuel Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mammoth, they will head out on the road to challenge California City at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
