Baseball Game Preview: Antioch Sequoits vs. Grayslake Central Rams

For the second straight game, Antioch will face off against Grayslake Central. The Sequoits will be playing at home against the Rams at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Antioch 4, Grayslake Central 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Antioch came up short against Grayslake Central and fell 6-1.

Antioch saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Yeager, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Yeager is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

The win was the third in a row for Grayslake Central, bringing their record up to 16-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Antioch, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-1.
