Volleyball Recap: Bremen Comes Up Short

Bremen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chicago Washington Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Bremen sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-27, 25-22.

Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Chicago Washington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bremen will take on Kankakee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chicago Washington, they will challenge Payton College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
