Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Meridian). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-22 victory over the Fauquier Falcons. With the Mustangs ahead 35-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Meridian had a senior duo take command as Duke Dawson rushed for 133 yards and three scores on only nine carries and Oumar Thompson rushed for 107 yards and three TDs. Dawson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

Meridian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 261 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
