Baseball Recap: Ponderosa's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

While Ponderosa didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 22-1 margin over the Foresthill Wildfires on Tuesday. The match marked the Bruins' most dominant win of the season so far.

Joe Stevens was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Stevens was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Max Baumgartner was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-3. He also got two hits, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Josiah Fajardo, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Ponderosa always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .614. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
