Lamar won the last time they faced Cesar E. Chavez and things went their way on Friday too. The Lamar Texans really took it to the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-29 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Texans had established a 27 point advantage.

Cesar E. Chavez lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Johntta Thomas, who posted nine points and seven boards.
