Basketball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 77-43 loss at the hands of the Central Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Webster County this season, with their most recent loss being a 70-38 defeat last Friday.

Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trakevious Durham led the charge by putting up 16 points. The dominant performance gave Durham a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sema J Copeland, who posted 13 points.

Webster County's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

As of now, neither Webster County nor Central have any future games scheduled.
