Perquimans had won six straight on the road, but on Saturday they bumped their record up to 16-2 to make it seven. Everything went their way against the Northside - Pinetown Panthers as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by ten runs or more this season.

As for Northside - Pinetown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered against Perquimans since February 28, 2019.

For Northside - Pinetown's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was EllaKate Hanna, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Perquimans has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Pamlico County on the 19th. As for Northside - Pinetown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-3 victory against Richmond on the 19th.
