Volleyball Recap: Holy Cross' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Holy Cross came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the North Bullitt Eagles.

Holy Cross had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-11, 15-7.

Maya Hayden paced Holy Cross' offense, picking up nine kills. Hayden got some help from Kensington Adams and her 14 assists.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for North Bullitt, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9.

Holy Cross wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Lawrenceburg on the 6th. As for North Bullitt, they will challenge Collins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
