Baseball Recap: Canyon Ridge Comes Up Short

Canyon Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rigby Trojans. The game marked the Riverhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Canyon Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Waitley, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Canyon Ridge now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Rigby, their record is now 7-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Canyon Ridge by a score of 10-3 on Saturday.
