Brett Peters and Chad Gross provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Clifton-Clyde. The connection went for 70 yards, the longest such play in Twin Valley (8 Man) this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, B & B beat Hanover 34-22. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Falcons.
Peters was a beast in the backfield as Linn fell to the Eagles.
Tyler Jones was a key player and the best on defense this week as Axtell beat Blue Valley. The 5-foot-11 junior grabbed 2 interceptions and recorded 1 fumble.
Dustin Rottinghaus threw for 378 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 22-41 with 1 interception.
Rottinghaus put up the best numbers in passing as B & B bested the Wildcats. Rottinghaus' favorite target this week was Cameron Haug, who caught 5 passes for 157 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Justin Coup's team's Rottinghaus and Blake Deters have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Rottinghaus has thrown for 1,607 yards this season, while Deters has 36 catches for 656 yards. Peters from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 1,183 yards.
One of Twin Valley (8 Man)'s premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Falcons and the Rams face off next week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when B & B takes on Blue Valley. At the moment, the Falcons are in first, while Matt Schreiber's team is in fourth.
The Rams fell to the Eagles 54-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
